What does a set of plans from SRD consist of?
A full set of plans is typically 3-6 pages, and that includes a floor plan, foundation plan, roof plan, and elevations for all 4 sides your home. A plot plan can also be included per request!
Once the plans are complete, you'll receive a PDF of the final plans, as well as four 24"x36" printed copies.

What do I need to get started?
Most importantly a good reference plan! Finding inspiration by looking at plans online is a good way to find one, or a hand sketch is acceptable as well. You'll also want to have a good idea of your budget and what size home you're looking to build. If you're building in an HOA, having a survey with the home placed on the lot may be necessary for the plot plan.

How does the drafting process work?
We'll start by talking about any changes you'd like made to your reference plan, and a preliminary floor plan will be emailed to you after a discussed period of time. Once you're happy with the footprint of the plan, I'll then draw the exterior and send you a PDF for review. We'll talk about any last revisions you'd like to make, then finalize the plans!
I'll email you a PDF of your plans, and also include up to four 24"x36" printed copies. More copies can be made at request for an additional cost.

How much does
a blueprint cost?
I charge per square footage for most standard plan drafts, and hourly for most addition & remodel plans. Feel free to contact me for exact pricing!
